About the Ray-Ban RX5393
The Ray-Ban RB5393 is a square-shaped, full-rim frame designed as a unisex style. The square shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes, providing structure and definition.
This frame comes in two sizes: 49-17-145 (lens height 40 mm) and 51-17-145 (lens height 41 mm). The lens widths of 49mm and 51mm fall on the narrow side of regular, while the 17mm bridge is average for these lens widths and the 145mm temples are standard length. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 49 or 51?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 48–50 mm take the 49; if it is 50–52 mm take the 51.
Is the RB5393 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 40 mm in the 49 and 41 mm in the 51. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX5393 and RB5393?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
