About the Ray-Ban RB5417
The Ray-Ban RB5417 is a full rim phantos frame designed for unisex wear. The rounded phantos shape suits those who prefer a classic, circular frame style.
This frame comes in four size options: 50-19-145 (lens height 41mm), 50-19-145 (lens height 41mm), 52-19-145 (lens height 43mm), and 52-19-145 (lens height 43mm). The lens width of 50mm to 52mm falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 19mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple.

Which size should I choose, 50 or 52?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 49–51 mm take the 50; if it is 51–53 mm take the 52.
Is the RB5417 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 41 mm in the 50 and 43 mm in the 52. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX5417 and RB5417?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
