About the Ray-Ban RB5586
The Ray-Ban RB5586 is a square-shaped frame made from acetate plastic with a full rim design. This women's frame features regular hinges and suits those who prefer a structured, geometric look.
Available in two sizes: 48-19-145 (lens height 41mm) and 50-19-145 (lens height 42mm). The lens width of 48mm to 50mm falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 19mm bridge is average for this lens width and the 145mm temples are standard length. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 48 or 50?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 47–49 mm take the 48; if it is 49–51 mm take the 50.
Is the RB5586 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 41 mm in the 48 and 42 mm in the 50. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX5586 and RB5586?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
