About the Ray-Ban RB7230
The Ray-Ban RB7230 is a full-rim pillow-shaped frame designed for women. The soft, rounded rectangular shape with gently curved edges works well for angular face shapes.
Available in two sizes: 52-19-145 with a 39mm lens height, and 54-19-145 with a 40mm lens height. The lens width of 52mm to 54mm provides a regular fit, while the 19mm bridge is average for frames of this size. The 145mm temple length is standard. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses. Ray-Ban case included; one-year warranty against manufacturer's defects.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 52 or 54?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 51–53 mm take the 52; if it is 53–55 mm take the 54.
Is the RB7230 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 39 mm in the 52 and 40 mm in the 54. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX7230 and RB7230?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
