How the RB8225V fits

At 55mm to 58mm lens width, the Ray-Ban RB8225V fits wide across the face. This is approximately 3mm to 6mm wider than standard women's frames. The 14mm bridge is narrow for lenses this size, which positions the frame closer at the nose than most wide-fit styles.

The pilot shape provides moderate vertical lens height. This allows adequate room for single-vision prescriptions and lined bifocals. Progressive lenses will fit, though the viewing zones will be more compressed than in taller frame shapes.

The full-rim pilot shape works best on oval, heart, and oblong faces where the wider top balances narrower features. Round and square faces may find the shape emphasizes width rather than providing contrast. The metal construction keeps the overall weight low despite the wide lens dimensions.
