About the Ray-Ban RY1626D
The Ray-Ban RY1626D is a rectangle-shaped frame made from injected material with a full rim design. The rectangular shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes, and the unisex design accommodates a range of wearers.
This frame comes in two sizes: 47-16-140 with a lens height of 35mm, and 49-16-140 with a lens height of 36mm. The lens width of 47mm to 49mm falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 16mm bridge is average for frames in this lens width range. To compare with glasses you currently own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of your temple—these measurements will help you determine which size matches your usual fit.

Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 46–48 mm take the 47; if it is 48–50 mm take the 49.
Is the RY1626D good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 35 mm in the 47 and 36 mm in the 49. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
