At 46mm to 48mm lens width, the Ray-Ban RY9551V fits narrow faces. The 125mm temples are short, suited to smaller head sizes. If your current glasses measure 50mm or wider at the lens, these will feel noticeably smaller.
The 36mm lens height provides enough vertical space for progressive lenses. Single vision and bifocal prescriptions fit without restriction. Wearers who need progressives will have adequate room for the corridor.
The square metal frame works well on round or oval faces by adding definition. Heart-shaped faces also benefit from the width at the browline. Square or angular faces may find the geometry too similar to their own structure.
