About the Smart S2844E

The Smart S2844E is a full rim women's frame with spring hinges. The full rim construction provides complete lens enclosure, while the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for additional comfort and durability.

This frame measures 47-18-148 (lens width 47mm, bridge 18mm, temple 148mm). The 47mm lens width is narrow, and the 18mm bridge is average for this lens width. The 148mm temples are long—if your current glasses have shorter temples, these will extend further along the sides of your head.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the S2844E?

It comes in one size, 47-18-148. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 45–49 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the S2844E good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
