About the STEVE MADDEN GEMMA
The STEVE MADDEN GEMMA is a women's full rim acetate frame with spring hinges. The full rim construction provides complete lens enclosure and durability.
This frame comes in one size: 52-15-135 mm with a lens height of 39 mm. The 52 mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, and the 15 mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, which means it will sit closer on the nose than many frames with 52 mm lenses. The 135 mm temples are short compared to the standard 140-145 mm range, so if your current glasses have longer temples, these will fit more snugly behind your ears.

Which size is the GEMMA?
It comes in one size, 52-15-135. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the GEMMA good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 39 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
