About the Urban 100
The Urban 100 is a full rim plastic frame with spring hinges, designed for women. The full rim construction fully encircles the lenses, providing complete frame coverage.
This frame comes in two sizes: 52-16-140 and 53-16-140, where the numbers indicate lens width, bridge width, and temple length in millimeters. The lens width of 52mm to 53mm is a regular fit, and the 16mm bridge is average for lenses this width. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 52 or 53?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 51–53 mm take the 52; if it is 52–54 mm take the 53.
Is the 100 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
