About the Urban 124
The Urban 124 is a men's full rim plastic frame with spring hinges. The full rim construction provides complete lens enclosure and durability.
Available in two sizes: 55-19-135 and 56-18-145. The lens width of 55mm to 56mm is wide, suitable for larger faces, while the bridge width is average for frames of this lens size. The 135mm temple length is short compared to standard frames; if your current glasses have temples longer than 140mm, these will sit differently on your ears.

Which size should I choose, 55 or 56?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 54–56 mm take the 55; if it is 55–57 mm take the 56.
Is the 124 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
