About the Urban 159
The Urban 159 is a women's full rim plastic frame with spring hinges. The full rim construction provides complete lens support, while the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for a more forgiving fit.
This frame comes in one size: 52-18-140, where 52mm is the lens width, 18mm is the bridge width, and 140mm is the temple length. The 52mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, suitable for small to medium faces, and the 18mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple.

What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
