About the Wide Guyz RIP

The Wide Guyz RIP is a semi-rimless rectangle frame made for men. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for comfort and durability.

This frame measures 60-17-150 mm (lens width-bridge width-temple length). The 60 mm lens width is very wide, and the 17 mm bridge is average for this lens width. The 150 mm temples are long, so compare these measurements to a pair of glasses that currently fit you well.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the RIP?

It comes in one size, 60-17-150. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 58–62 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the RIP good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
