About the Flexon W3043
The Flexon W3043 is a women's half-rim frame with a rectangular shape, made from Flexon metal. The half-rim design means the frame material runs along the top of the lenses, leaving the bottom edge exposed.
This frame comes in two sizes: 51-18-135 with a lens height of 33 mm, and 54-18-135 with a lens height of 35 mm. The lens width of 51mm to 54mm provides a regular fit, while the 18mm bridge is average for these lens widths. The 135mm temples are short, so if your current glasses have longer temples, these will sit closer to your head.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 51 or 54?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 50–52 mm take the 51; if it is 53–55 mm take the 54.
Is the W3043 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 33 mm in the 51 and 35 mm in the 54. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the W3043 come in?
It is offered in 3 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
