About the CONTROLLER
The CONTROLLER features a square shape with full rims, designed for men. The square frame construction provides defined angles that complement round or oval face shapes, while the spring hinges allow for flexible temple movement.
This frame measures 57-18-145: a wide 57mm lens width, an 18mm bridge (average for this lens width), and a standard 145mm temple length. The wide lens width suits those who find standard frames too narrow, while the average bridge provides typical spacing between lenses. Compare the 57mm lens width to your current glasses to determine if this wider fit works for you.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the CONTROLLER?
It comes in one size, 57-18-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 55–59 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the CONTROLLER good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
