About the Brooklyn Heights Eyewear JACOB
The Brooklyn Heights Eyewear JACOB is a full rim plastic frame designed for men. The full rim construction fully encircles the lenses, providing complete frame coverage.
This frame measures 53-17-140: the 53mm lens width is a regular fit, the 17mm bridge is average for this lens width, and the temples are 140mm. To compare with glasses you already own, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size is the JACOB?
It comes in one size, 53-17-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the JACOB good for progressive lenses?

I already had a pair of this frame and lenses from a different brick-and-mortar optician, that has since gone out of business. I really like this particular frame because of how light the frame is. The frame is very comfortable to wear for an extended period of time. But the next best thing about this frame is how sturdy the hinges are. I have had the frame for almot two years and the attachment screws have never loosened up. I wanted to get a second pair as a spare set, but couldn’t find anywhere locally that had the Brooklyn Heights Jacob frame. Doing an Internet search I found them on BestNewGlasses.com and ordered them with my most recent prescription. And the results were better than I expected. I received the new pair in about a week and the lenses were perfect. And the price was less than half of what I paid for my original pair. The new glasses also came with a really good storage case which I did not expect. I highly recommed the Brooklyn Heights Jacob frame with lightweight plastic lenses if you need a spare set of glasses.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
