About the Jill Stuart JS477
The Jill Stuart JS477 is a full rim cat eye frame made from acetate plastic. Designed for women, this style features spring hinges for flexibility and comfort.
This frame comes in one size: 52-17-140 mm, with a lens height of 40 mm. The 52 mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 17 mm bridge is average for this lens width and the 140 mm temples are standard length. It comes in one size, 52-17-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the JS477 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 40 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
