About the Lacoste L4011
The Lacoste L4011 is a full-rim rectangular frame made from bio-based plastic. Designed for men, it features spring hinges and suits those who prefer a structured, angular look.
This frame comes in one size: 56-17-150 with a lens height of 42mm. The 56mm lens width is wide, and the 17mm bridge is average for this lens width, while the 150mm temples are long. If your current glasses have smaller lenses or shorter temples, these will feel noticeably larger and extend further behind your ears.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the L4011?
It comes in one size, 56-17-150. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 54–58 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the L4011 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 42 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
