About the Maxx Eyewear ELAINE
The Maxx Eyewear ELAINE is a women's cat eye frame with a full rim design and spring hinges. The cat eye shape suits those who prefer a vintage-inspired look with upswept outer corners.
This frame comes in one size: 56-19-145 mm. The 56 mm lens width is wide, providing substantial coverage, while the 19 mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size is the ELAINE?
It comes in one size, 56-19-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 54–58 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the ELAINE good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
