About the Ray-Ban RB6549
The Ray-Ban RB6549 is a square-shaped metal frame with a full rim design. This unisex frame works for those who prefer geometric lines and the durability of metal construction.
Available in two sizes: 51-21-145 with a lens height of 39mm, and 53-21-145 with a lens height of 40mm. The 51mm to 53mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 21mm bridge is wide for frames of this lens width, sitting farther from your face than most glasses with similar lens sizes. The 145mm temples are standard length.

Which size should I choose, 51 or 53?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 50–52 mm take the 51; if it is 52–54 mm take the 53.
Is the RB6549 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 39 mm in the 51 and 40 mm in the 53. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX6549 and RB6549?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
