About the Urban 144
The Urban 144 is a women's plastic frame with a full rim design. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for a more forgiving fit.
This frame comes in one size: 51-18-140 (lens width 51mm, bridge 18mm, temple 140mm). The 51mm lens width is on the narrow side of regular, suitable for small to medium faces. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple—if your current frames are 50-52mm in the first number, this will fit similarly.

Which size is the 144?
It comes in one size, 51-18-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 49–53 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 144 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
