About the VOLO 16

The VOLO 16 is a full rim rectangle frame designed for men. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for comfort and durability. The rectangular shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes.

This frame measures 54-18-145: a 54mm lens width, 18mm bridge, and 145mm temples. The 54mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 18mm bridge is average for this lens size. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the 16?

It comes in one size, 54-18-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 52–56 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the 16 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
