About the VOLO INVADER

The VOLO INVADER is a men's rectangular frame with a full rim design. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for a more forgiving fit.

This frame measures 55-17-150: a 55mm lens width (regular fit), 17mm bridge (average for this lens width), and 150mm temples (long). The regular lens width suits most faces, while the long temples extend further than standard frames you may already own.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the INVADER?

It comes in one size, 55-17-150. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 53–57 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the INVADER good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
