About the VOLO 52

The VOLO 52 is a full rim rectangle frame designed for men. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for comfort and durability.

This frame measures 55-17-145: a 55mm lens width (regular fit), 17mm bridge (average for this lens width), and 145mm temples (standard length). The 55mm lens width fits most faces, while the 17mm bridge sits at an average distance from your nose—compare these numbers to a pair you currently wear to determine if this frame will fit similarly.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the 52?

It comes in one size, 55-17-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 53–57 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the 52 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
