About the Capri PT92

The Capri PT92 is a rectangle-shaped metal frame with a full rim design. The spring hinges provide flexibility at the temples, and the unisex styling works for a range of face shapes that suit rectangular frames.

This frame comes in three sizes: 54-18-145 with a lens height of 35mm, 57-18-150 with a lens height of 38mm, and 60-18-155 with a lens height of 39mm. The lens widths from 54mm to 60mm are very wide, while the 18mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple.

Is the PT92 good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 35 mm in the 54, 38 mm in the 57 and 39 mm in the 60. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
